    HI.
I have basically finished my app, but having some problems when it comes to testing on other android phones, I have the sony experia z, and the text format and buttons show up fine ( spaced correct, buttons all in the right place) but when I use the url from the cloud on other android phones, like my wife’s galaxy ace, and my friends htc one the text is all mixed up (one paragraph flowing into the next and some text off screen that you can’t see?). it all looks fine in the test centre too.
where am I going wrong,? anyone have any idea’s?
need help with with fast, pulling my hair out as to why I can’t get this right, even tried it on my iPad and it looks fine, even though I am developing this as android.
pic from test centre below, showing text formatted correct.

You might try placing your text paragraphs on a (possibly transparent) panel widget – this would allow the text to scroll on a shorter screen.

    Hi.
Still having problems with the text formatting on different devices, have tried using the transperent panel, but still the text gets all mixed up on other devices but works fine on my experia Z.
Does anyone have any more info on text formatting so the text will show the same on all android devices or point me to some info on the forum?.
    Thank all.

    Hi Uplink1001,

I suspect the problem is due the different screen resolutions on your devices. Please see Advanced UI Design – Cross-Platform Development doc and configure your widgets using the auto-resize property properly. Let us know how it goes.

    HI.
Text all formatted fine now, seems i was dragging the text fields over the guidlines slightly so on a smaller device the text was all overlapping. all fine now.
    Thanks for the help.
