I am having 2 issues with the textarea widget. No matter what I try I can’t make it scroll, and also positioning the textarea is very difficult. It floats up on the iPhone 5 web app screen as much as 15 pixels again no matter how I set it for resizing or position. Does anyone know how to a) make the textarea scrollable and b) how to control the textarea widget so that where you place it on the design surface is where it will appear on the iPhone?

Can you post some details:
1) what ios device(s) and iOS version(s) are you testing with
2) please post an example design that illustrates the problem

Try the attached .mobi file on your ios device and see if the textarea scrolls.
Note that to set focus in a textarea that is on a scrolling panel or root screen background you should tap into the textarea to set focus. The following screencast is on my iphone5/ios6 scrolling 2 different textareas.
