    Hi,

although I have configured a JDK for Tomcat 4 server on my machine according to the “Application Deployment and Server Mgmt Quickstart” documentation, I can’t deploy my Web application to that server. I always get an error message: “Error Creating Deployment” complaining about the Tomcat JDK name.
How does my configuration has to look like?

I solved the JDK configuration problem myself: I added a new JDK configuration for Tomcat 4 but did not tick the “Use default system libraries” checkbox.
However, some kind of configuration hints and tips including descritions of what the various options mean should be included in the documentation.

    Have fun!

    Achim,

We also realized that documentation was seriously lacking, so we spent a month doing nothing but writing tutorials. They’re available in the “Documentation” section on the website (http://www.myeclipseide.com/ContentExpress-display-ceid-67.html), which is accessed from the left navigation bar. Of particular interest in this case would have been the Application Server tutorial.

I think you’ll find the other tutorials of benefit also.
