    Hello,

first of all, I’m a new user of MyEclipseIDE (looks great…), so please forgive me any silly questions…

I’m trying to develop a web application using JDK 1.5.0_03, Eclipse 3.0.1, MyEclipse 3.8.4 and Tomcat 5.5.9 on a german Win XP SP2.

Now I have the simple problem that I cannot find the log files that tomcat produces. When starting tomcat in the command shell, I find the log files in tomcats log directory. When starting tomcat with MyEclipse, no log files are written.

    What’s wrong?

    Regards
    Stefan

The log information is redirected to the Eclipse Console View (Window > Show View > Console).
