    Hi all,

I am new to eclipse. I wanted to try the JSP debugging but I can’t get it.
    Tomcat5 simple ignores my breakpoits.
In the case of JRun4 Eclipse says that JSPs should be compiled with debugging info, but I can’t find how to do it in the JRun’s documentation.

    Please help.
    Igor.

    Igor,
It would help us if you replied and hit “insert” and filled out your system information.

Going along with SeJo’s suggestion, Tomcat 5.0.18 is out and includes a fix for this problem with debugging, so you can try installing/upgrading to that. Also to set your application server in debug mode check: Window->Preferences->MyEclipse->Application Servers->JRun4->Launch->Run in Debug mode. Also so your servlets have debugging, make sure that Window->Preferences->Java->Compiler->Compliance and Class Files->”Classfile Generation” (Select all these check boxes).

Let us know if that helped.
