I get a “VALUE MUST BE AN EXISTING DIRECTORY” message when I attempt to configure TOMCAT with Eclipse.

I have TOMCAT 4 installed on c:/tomcat.

so this is how I’m cofiguring…

TOMCAT HOME DIRECTORY = C:\TOMCAT
TOMCAT BASE DIRECTORY = C:\TOMCAT
TOMCAT TEMP DIRECTORY = C:\TOMCAT\TEMP

I’m at my wit’s end–what else do I need to do?

thanks

Can you check your configuration against what we show in the FAQ here:
http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-22.html

And, can you read through the Application Server Quickstart in the documentation section here:
http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/quickstarts/appservers/

If that doesn’t help you determine the problem, can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.
