copenhagenMemberi got and installed the new release at the first time.
but unfortunately, it seems that it is a whole package of issues.
for example.
i transfered my project into Web Project, and configure the Tomcat as the AppServer. then i launch the tomcat with MyEclipse, bang~, the whole workbench disappeared! what is the problem?but i still have to say that the JSP debug and incremental build are the best performance!
my run enviorment:
JDK 1.3.1
Eclipse 3.0 M1June 24, 2003 at 8:15 am #196424
Scott AndersonParticipantCopenhagen,
The problem is probably that you’re running on Eclipse 3.0 M1. Eclipse 3.0 M1 is a completely untested product, from our perspective. MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench will always be available for the last RELEASE version of Eclipse, which in this case is 2.1. We will neither support, nor test on, integration, nightly, or otherwise in- progress builds in the build stream due to resource constraints and the costs we would incur if we supported every flavor of Eclipse builds. We just can’t afford to and keep the price of MyEclipse where it is.
That said, based on the 3.0 roadmap we do know there will be some compatability issues on some of the upcoming 3.0 builds. We’ll be sure to have a MyEclipse 3.0 when 3.0 is stable and very close to shipping (next year), but right now we support Eclipse 2.1.
I’d suggest you download and install Eclipse 2.1 and then install MyEclipse with that. I believe you’re experiences will be greatly enhanced, and problems greatly diminished.
but i still have to say that the JSP debug and incremental build are the best performance!
Thanks! Our user’s top request was JSP debugging, so we concentrated on that and delivered it for you.
