We’re in the process of migrating from JetBrains IDEA to Eclipse + MyEclipse.
One thing that is driving us crazy is that we never really had to save with IDEA– it just magically happened for us. I’ve been trying to figure out (to no avail) how, when using the MyEclipse perspective, to customize the toolbar to add the “Save All” button to it. Does any one have any pointers?

Sorry if this isn’t the correct place to ask– not sure if this is an Eclipse thing or is related to the MyEclipse Perspective.

    Thanks!

Try CTRL+SHIFT+S for a save all. It becomes second nature…

I don’t know of a way to add that file option as a button myself. It’s not available on Window > Customize Perspective… as I would’ve thought. I guess the hotkeys are the way to go unless someone else knows.
