i just noticed that when i do a phoneui.gotoPage( “m1-settings”, phoneui.transitions.slideLeft );
in v2.2, it slides in a blank white page and then displays the page.
this is on the device.
on the emulator, works as expected.
also, this transition used to work fine on the device w/ mobi v1.5.

To help us understand if this is an upgrade issue do you experience similar behavior if you create a small test app with transitions on MobiOne 2.X. There are major diffs between 1.X and 2.X in order to support android at approx the same level as iOS.

Disregard my comment. It was a fun fact. I was only sharing background info since 2.X is about iOS and android at equal levels of concern.
as per your suggestion i created a simple app and it worked fine
in chrome browser – transition did NOT have the white background.my actual app uses the same phoneui.js file.
my apologies.
i was messing around with the generated css file and that caused the problem.
btw, “Helvetica Neue” in the css file – i think the space is not required.
