Hello!

So, new client, new project, they use Git so I needed EGit. Well, installing didn’t go well;

Software being installed: MyEclipse for Spring 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000006 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-3414934-rmb-4452814 2.0.0.0000000006)
Missing requirement: EGit Plug-in Import Support 2.3.1.201302201838-r (org.eclipse.egit.import.feature.group 2.3.1.201302201838-r) requires ‘org.eclipse.team.core 3.6.100’ but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: MyEclipse for Spring 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000006 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-3414934-rmb-4452814 2.0.0.0000000006)
To: org.eclipse.egit.import.feature.group 0.0.0

So, why is this and what do I need to do to correct it?

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please try installing Egit using Help > MyEclipse configuration center > Software > Search for “egit” in browse software > Right click on “Eclipse Egit” which is under collaboration and click Add to profile. Click on Apply changes, follow the wizard and restart the IDE when it prompts.

If you are installing Egit through update site, please add only “Eclipse Egit” in to your profile and then click on apply changes.
