I assume you mean the original EASIE WebSphere plugin that we wrote a couple of years ago? I’ll check on it with the web guys. We’ve made a ton of enhancements since that version and it’s for Eclipse 2.x only, so could you share why you’d rather use it than the same, updated capabilities we have as part of MyEclipse?

I’ve installed in WinXP, Eclipse 2.1.2 and Websphere 5.0.2, also I installed the EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_020800Beta1.exe.

That’s all ok, but there is where I have the problems…, I’m trying to create a test Servlet to debug with Eclipse and Websphere and I can’t get to start the Websphere Server from the Eclipse.

I’ve already tested it with Eclipse 3.0 and 2.1.3 and the Lomboz plugins and I didn’t get it. I also tried it with JBoss 3.2.5 and I did not get any results.
The problem comes when I try to do the deploy and the server start, cause It does nothing

What is wrong?

I’d like to know the steps to get it go on…
I tell you what we need: jdk 1.4 or higher, Eclipse x.x, and Websphere 5.0.2 or 5.1, the OS is WinXP SP1.

thanks for your help

Can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.

We’ve just got to run it!!
Well, now we have only a little problem more…, the client said us that the WAS 5.0.2 express doesn’t support EJBs, is that true?

WAS 5.0.2 express doesn’t support EJBs

If I’m not mistaken that is correct. IBM’s “Express” line of WAS is basically a servlet / HTML container like Tomcat.
