Hi,
Is there a way to use TypeScript 2.7 with the Angular IDE?Trying to use definite assignment assertions makes the IDE mark it as a syntax error

I’m afraid we need to upgrade the tooling to support this, so there’s no workaround that will give you TypeScript 2.7 support right now.
We are working towards making this support available in Eclipse (and in Angular IDE / Webclipse) at a much faster rate, do take a look at CodeMix – if you find this interesting, do join the Insiders program.
