I am getting this error message whilst webapps are updating for the first time (on an iPad) since upgrading to 2.3
‘”Unable to cache web page for offline use ………..”
Hmm! That is odd as there were no changes made to the appcache mgmt in the last several releases.
1 major change in 2.3 is a new App Center implementation. We will recheck to ensure that it is providing the property manifest mime-type. But also the URL to your webapp changed from 2.2 to 2.3 due to the new server.

I loaded your online app and it seems that the file ygln.html in the manifest.cache file could not be loaded.

If you rename a file to say “index.html” you can also rename it in the cache.manifest and should not see that error.

Yes. To do this will require manually editing the cache.manifest file’s NETWORK section. See this good explanation http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/appcache/beginner/
