Hi there, I have download ME 7.0 and installed it for trying. My problem is that I can’t choose the myFaces JSF implementation to add capabilities. When I choose and apply, it doesn’t take.

Can you create a new Web Project with the J2EE specification level 1.4. Now add jsf capabilities to it. Do you see the MyFaces option under the JSF implementation dropdown?

Now I’m upgrading to 7.1. but I don’t know why I should use level 1.4, I need to use 1.5 level

JSF 1.2 includes myfaces and 1.2 JSF specification is a part of the Java EE 5. That is why you don’t see an option.

OK, my update has aborted. I’m still in ME 7.0. How can I use MyFaces 1.2 with tomahack 1.2 with ME 7.0 in JEE 1.5 level? I tried to includes the libaries but when I’m editing a jsp file, I don’t see the components of tomahack.
My intentions is to use ME as my default development environment. My architecture should be JSF+EJB3+report+Jboss 4.2.2GA+Oracle
    regards

This is what you can do – Create a new Java EE 5 Web Project , add JSF Capabilities (leave default settings), dropin MyFaces libraries in your project. Add the MyFaces JSP URIs for the taglibs to your JSP pages. That should do the trick.
