    Hi to all,

I search all the “Unable to connect to App Center” Post and none help me. I’m trying to find out if using MobiOne is better than other HTML5 solution and in an overview it does. But I can’t manage to Publish the app to the mobile Web Application or IOS App or Android. I check almost everything and still can’t get it to work. (I’m using a Windows XP Professional in a domain Computer). I download MobiOne at my house and it work great in a Windows 8 computer. It is the OS or that I’m on a Domain what is causing the problem?? Thanks in advance.

    Hi kalehm,

Can you try to ping our server? mobioneappcenter2.appspot.com
Or just visit the url http://mobioneappcenter2.appspot.com/ (it should say Error: NOT_FOUND, it is OK )

Does only build/upload wizard fail for you? can you browse f.e. http://goo.gl/HDdoy in TestCenter?

    Hi Octavio,

First, thanks for any help that you can give me. Ok, I try to ping to the address but with a Request Time Out. Also, if I go to that web address that you give me it return as you say, Error: NOT_FOUND. And last, I try to build or to Publish and it fail. If I go to this web address http://goo.gl/HDdoy in the Test Center it open. Is there anyway that I can pack this manually and upload to my web hosting and download it to the Iphone?? so I can use it offline?? Thanks.

    Hi kalehm,

Thanks for the information. Could you also please share mobione version and a screenshot of the message that you get when you try to upload your design as a web app?
Have you consulted your local admin? It might be domain-specific proxy/firewall settings.

This is the error that I’m getting and my version is 2.3.2 (Hot-fix 1, 20130425). We don’t have a proxy. Maybe some firewall in the company. I try today sending the folder app into my web hosting. I upload all the files in the folder. That is all that I have to do to use it as a Web App Offline??? Can I use also the database capability uploading like that?? What I’m trying to do is an App that will get/upload data from a MySQL database when ever the app is online and storage data when is offline. Can I work uploading the files directly into the server? Thanks.

I did it and it works. But if I turn off the internet in the Iphone I can’t open the app. It say “Cannot Open {App Name}. {App Name} could not be opened because it is not connected to the internet.” There is no way to create a Web App for offline use? I must use “Build IOS Application”?? Thanks again

If you enable the offline app cache support on the startup screen properties you can save the app in the homescreen and you will be able to access it without internet conection.

WOW!!! you are the best!! I was looking for some setting like that but didn’t find it. Thanks, it works!!! Now, one question. What is the difference between the Web App and the Build IOS App??

    Hi kalehm,

    >What is the difference between the Web App and the Build IOS App??
Well, basically a web app is a website than is designed to be rendered in a mobile device and you can saved in your home screen and be viewed without internet conection. A native app is an application that is installed in your device and is available with or without internet conection (as long as you don’t pull images or data from internet). Also, you can distribute your app in App Store and earn some money selling it 🙂
