I am trying to install CodeMix extension – Node Pack. while installation I am getting error
“Multiple instances of CodeMix are running. Please close other instances in order to install or install extensions”. However there is no any other instance is running.
I have followed below steps for extension installation
    1) Open MyEclipse 2017
    2) Open Help
    3) CodeMix Extension

Could be a glitch where some extraneous CodeMix are running by accident:

    1) Shut down MyEclipse
    2) Open the Task manager, and look for processes named CodeMix, end / kill them.
    3) Start MyEclipse and reattempt extension installation

This should fix your problems and I hope this is a one-time occurrence. Do let us know if you still see the problem or keep running into issues. Let us know the version of CodeMix you have installed: See Preferences > CodeMix for details.

Just as a fail-safe check, could you try restarting your machine?

The version you indicated for CodeMix looks odd, do you mind sending us a screenshot of the Preferences > CodeMix page?

    Thanks!

Which version of CodeMix you are looking for? How do I update CodeMix version?

The CodeMix version should be something like 2018 CI 2018.4.20, with the build Id set to 0.9.0.201804210117.

Can you press Ctrl + Shift + P to bring up the command palette and execute the Update CodeMix command? Failing that, you could do a general Help > Check for Updates to pick up the latest CM version.

Can you tell us how and when you installed CodeMix into MyEclipse?

    Thanks!
