I have installed Flash builder 4.0 plugin with myEclipse. I am using myEclipse for Spring 8.6. When I am trying to run a flash application that I have developed I am getting the following error:
“Cannot run program “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE”: CreateProcess error=5, Access is denied”I have checked the preference at General->Web Browser and it is set to defaults.

Are you right clicking on a certain file and selecting “Run As”? If so, which file and run configuration are you selecting?
Are you deploying the project to your Sandbox Tomcat Server.
In the General / Web Browser options, which External Web Browsers are listed?

JackI am running the main .MXML file of the application. I am running as “Web Application”.
The tomcat server configuration is file. It is not able to launch IEXPLORE.EXE application.
As mentioned earlier I see a pop up dialogue with the following information
“Cannot run program “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE”: CreateProcess error=5, Access is denied”Thanks for the additional information.
While we work on the specific issue with the resolution of the internal browser in your configuration, I wanted to verify that you have the information you need to run and test your project.
You can deploy your application and open a browser to the url http://server:port/ProjectName and the default .jsp page will load showing you an entry point to the generated scaffolded application including a button to launch the generated Flex application.
Regarding the specifics of why the action of attempting to run the MXML file is attempting to launch IE and failing, please provide the following:
1. Copy and paste Installation Details. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details
2. Clear .log file located at [workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and copy and paste relevant details of issue here
3. Open Window > Preferences > General > Web Browser and attach a screenshot of the same.
4. Is iexplore.exe present in the path specified – “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe”
5. If yes, what are the permissions on this folder?
