I have been trying to open a mobione file created in a previous version (Mobione 1.0M7 I think) in the latest version 1.4.1.
When I try and open it I get the following:
1) A messagebox asking me to a) Upgrade b) Open as read only.
No matter what I choose I get the following error:
“Unknown synthetic property”
How should I proceed?
My blink impression is that pre-1.0 production design files will be a no go in current 1.4 version of MobiOne. I know the team worked hard to have an upgrade path but early preproduction 1.0 design file formats were changed significantly before the 1.0 production version was released.
I can take a look at the UI file but can not guarantee that it can be manually upgraded. It might be quicker to redesign the UI using 1.4 rather than try to recover a 2 year old design file. Thoughts?
All I want is a screen shot to see what I had done. If I send you the files, can you just send me a screenshot of what they look like in that version and send the images back to me?
That is all I need.

RickyI’ll give it a go. Please send the .mobi file(s) to
support at genuitec dot com with title “old mobione file for wayne (ricknyc)”I just mailed you all the files. There are 11 in total. Should be pretty simple if you have the old version up somewhere. If you need all associated files I can zip up the entire folder and send you the same as wel.
Got ’em. Will give a look later this evening after I clear my current backlog of cases.
I just forwarded a zip with screenshots from these old design files. Hope that is what you were looking for.
