tried several times to upgrade from 2002.9.16 to 2021.5.24 and receiving this error. my machine is connected to the internet with no issues, and i’m able to download that jar file with my browser without a problem. it continually fails in myeclipse update.

Mike,

Sorry to hear you’re running into this. The file does look fine at our end, and it’s possibly a glitched download that’s stuck in your cache.

Have you tried restarting and checking for updates again? If you still see the problem, is it exactly the same file, at exactly the same number of bytes?
If you’re looking for a quick solution and have the bandwidth, you could download the newest offline installer, run that, and have it upgrade your existing install.

Do let us know if you’re still experiencing issues with the update.
