    Moved from Windows to Linux. Using Fedora Core 2.
    Unable to start applicationserver (BEA 81 sp 3) from within Eclipse.

    Gets the following error:
    java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no weblogicunix1 in java.library.path
    at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1491)

    First bugreport, mig be posting it wrong – sorry !

    It sounds like weblogic requires a native resource on linux to start. You will likely need to play whatever it wants to run in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH so it can find it. The startup script that it uses normally probably does this already, you could check that for hints.
