Hi ,

I am trying to configure the debug of a Tomcat 5 console thru myeclipse. I have followed
all the instructions in the link below.

Still , I am unable to connect to the debug and get a “VM Connection Refused ” message, with no Details .

I am able to start and stop Tomcat from within myeclipse and also able to bring up the App.

Using ver 5.0.23 of Tomcat and Myeclipse is 4.x

I have however NOT done these

cd <tomcat-home-dir>\bin
set JPDA_TRANSPORT=dt_socket
set JPDA_ADDRESS=8000
catalina.bat jpda start

Can anyone help please.

Kasi,
If you are launching Tomcat from MyEclipse, there is nothing to setup, the debugger is already attached.

Are you starting Tomcat some other way?
