    Hi,

Sent my app to a friend who too has a HTC Desire, albeit an earlier model/version

He reports that upon installation, he gets a ‘unsupported platform’ message?

Have I ‘packed’ the app incorrectly? I’m wondering if I need to adjust any settings when I build it?

P.S Not sure how very one else feels but that new SPAM KEY CAPTURE on here is very annoying! I pity those who have a visual disability

    Hi Richard,

This is a known issue. This bug is being introduced by our cloud provider – Google App Engine. GAE is automatically adding the content type headers incorrectly. We have tried to work around this but nogo so far. We are waiting for google to resolve it. The workaround is using the default browser to download your mobione app: http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4838&p=14064&hilit=Unsupported+Platform#p14064

    Hi Octavio,

“Could you try installing it with default device browser”

I had the same problem after send app to friend

As he has only one browser on his device are you saying install another one for the app to work?

    Hi Richard,

The issue is with the way our Google App Engine (our cloud service) is configured for hosting MobiOne App Center. We are looking into this asap. The near term workaround is to either use a non-chrome browser or to manually install the app rather than via the over-the-air mechanism.
