OK, using the very-less-than-perfect Pulse, which craps out with an error, but no details on how to fix it or what to do, I got the error below after totally re-installing MyEclipse after other Pulse configuration problems after deleting a plug-in (via Pulse).

An Internal error occurred during: “update”.
Java Heap Space

(I was trying to add back PMD after my now hours-long re-install process….)

There MUST be a better product than Pulse.

I currently seemingly spend more time configuring/debugging my MyEclipse configuration than actually using MyEclipse.

I’m sorry for all the trouble that you have been running into. You can grab the Manual Install of MyEclipse which is “completely Pulse-free and will let you use all the default Eclipse update management stuff.

Unfortunately, Pulse is only part of the problem.

I tried to install PMD manually, but that didn’t work either…(after a total re-install of MyEclipse).

I guess the basic issue is how to actually fix Pulse so it … works.

With most errors you get in MyEclipse, you just get the error, no suggestions, no ability for MyEclipse to just fix the error itself.

Can you please tell me how to resolve the error:
