Hello,
I would like to upgrade the git plugin on MyEclipse Professional 2014.
Currently it has version 3.0.3.201309161630-r, and i need to upgrade with version 4.2.0.201601211800-r.
I did to try the installation : Windows | Install from Site… , and i put repository came from http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates , but at the end it failed .
It said that there are dependencies issue related about the version , can you help me to validate and resolve this issue ? thanks .

Do you need the features listed under ‘Will not be installed’? If you do not need them, then please proceed with the recommended solution.Rest of the features including Eclipse Git Team Provider will be upgraded to 4.2 and those features listed under ‘Will not be installed’ wont be installed.
