I’ve been using MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 7.5 for nearly a year now and I think it’s a fantastic product. I paid for an upgrade today as I want to stick with the product.
When going though the update process (from Help > Software Updates > Check for updates…), everything completed and the system asked the usual question, i.e., do you want to restart for upgrades to take effect. I said yes, but then I had Windows debug type window and MyEclipse was dead 🙁
I restarted from the shortcut, i.e., MyEclipse 7.5 and it appears normal.
However, my question is; should I be getting an upgrade to 8.5 or have I just paid for another year of 7.5?
