I’ve got MyEclipse 4.1.1 running just fine on top of Eclipse 3.1.1 and would like to try Matisse which states
that Eclipse 3.1.2 is required. I tried the update service for existing features and got a message
saying that nothing was available for update. My update settings are set for compatible updates.
What’s the “safe” procedure for upgrading Eclipse 3.1.1 to 3.1.2 under MyEclipse to keep both happy?To upgrade to 3.1.2, try the instructions at the following website:
http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/platform-releng/updatesfor3.1.1.htmlAnd after the update completes, restart eclipse/MyEclipse once and use the “-clean” command line option to clear out the configuration cache so all of the updates will be correctly configured.
