Support,
After some struggle to upload my first app to the Apple App Store, I came across a few minor roadblocks which might be worthwhile to consider for a future MobiOne update.
My app is designed to work on an iPhone from 3G and upward to the current iPhone 5. As I followed the process to upload the required materials to the Apple Servers, I experienced a few snags which lengthened the process.
First:
I was asked to upload some an App Large Icon as well as some screen shots. Although I have taken some screen shots from within MobiOne, the resolution was not the required Apple size, which led to some additional graphic resizing.
The required Apple sizes are:
(3.5″ Screen) – 72 DPI minimum
960 x 640 jpg, png
960 x 600 jpg, png
640 x 960 jpg, png
640 x 920 jpg, png
(4″ Screen) – 72 DPI minimum
1136 x 640 jpg, png
1136 x 600 jpg, png
640 x 1136 jpg, png
640 x 1096 jpg, png
So, if possible, could MobiOne be set to capture program snapshots in one of these resolutions? This would save some frigging around with the graphcs later in the process of getting the into to the Apple Servers.
Not surprising, I did take a few screen shots of the app from the iPhone and they were in the proper size, but they did not show the phone outline.
Also, please keep in mind that you MUST upload graphics for BOTH the 3.5″ and 4″ screens, otherwise you will receive a message later requesting same.
Is it possible to set MobiOne to take screen snapshots at one of these resolutions in the iPhone 5, and iPhone 4 formats?
Thanks in advance
