My company recently blocked our access to Chrome, can I use MobiOne with any other browser? Thanks…

Mobione apps can be viewed correctly on any webkit browser (Chrome, Safari, etc)

You cannot change how Mobione does it (Chrome also has great debugging tools), but you can just open the www files.

Firefox and IE are not webkit browsers.

Can you help me understand something in the screenshot? From the screenshot, my interpretation is that some antivirus software is blocking MobiOne from launching chrome.

    1) Do you have the chrome browser installed on your system?

    2) What antivirus software are you running?

    3) What version of MobiOne is installed?

My main issue is that my company is blocking Chrome at the server level. So I’m looking for another way I can continue to use the MobiOne with a different browser.

Answers to your question in bold below:
    1) Do you have the chrome browser installed on your system? UI installed on PC but managed by company Admin on server.
    2) What antivirus software are you running? Symantec Endpoint Protection V12.1.4013.4013
    3) What version of MobiOne is installed? V 2.6.1

    Thanks,

    Tomas

    Hi tomas,

Thanks for the info. We have officially pulled the Test Center from codebase. I have escalated this matter to our management team.

Yes. There can not be a quick resolution as the current simulator has deep dependencies into the chrome api. We have discussed other options but all have an unattractively high cost and complexity which rules them out for now. An alternative to chrome is another desktop browser such as safari or opera. Note that if you choose to work with such as a desktop browser must be webkit based. This is because the code generated by mobione is targeted to the ios and android webkit-based browsers.
