Hey guys, first post here so go easy on me…
I want to use eclipse to develop a web application and use weblogic 8.1 to deploy it, never done anything like this before so am looking for some pointers, any help is appreciated…
Is it a matter of creating a project in eclipse, creating a war file from it and opening the war file in weblogic?
I have a war file which Im trying to open in weblogic but I cant seem to open it and run it….

It contains quickstart documents to explain all the MyEclipse concepts quickly and walk you through getting an example application built and deployed. I’d recommend starting with Working with Web Projects and Using Application Servers. While these documents are not Weblogic specific, all servers are configured in the same way.
