I’m currently using 3.8b2, but this was also present in beta 1, possibly earlier. When viewing a file in the xml editor though, there is a vertical gray line running through it about two thirds of the way across it (approx column 74). I can’t see any reason for this existing, and am assuming it’s a bug. It only happens when using the xml editor.

I am running Debian Sarge (testing), java 1.4.2_03, eclipse 3.0.0 (fresh install – gtk). The only plugins installed are MyEclipse and PyDevelop (very recently installed, after the line had already showed up).

I would tend to think this an swt or gtk issue, but it only happens in the ‘MyEclipse XML Editor’, so maybe not.

This may sound silly, but are you talking about the print margin line? If so, you can control whether or not it’s visible on one of the XML editor’s preference pages.

Thanks, that was it. I assume one of the updates to myeclipse introduced this, and I never noticed. This is a bit of a teaser because eclipse gtk still can’t print on Linux. Thanks.
