Is there a way to view http://localhost within MobiOne iPhone browser? I can view outside websites such as google.com, but not localhost. It works fine within my regular desktop browser.

I get the error:
Error loading page:
Code: 102
Error: Connection refused

I have my firewall turned off.

I talked with the dev team and they suspect a proxy server is blocking access to local addresses. MobiOne’s proxy support is being improved but as of 1.0M9 auto-configured proxy settings are not yet supported.

Here are some follow up Q’s:

1) do you get a 102 error when you use the 127.0.0.1 address in place of localhost?

2) do you have a local webserver running on port 80?

3) do you have a proxy enabled?
a) From Test Center, expand Tool Panel and select Settings>Proxy; this will open the Internet Properties dialog
b) Select LAN Settings button; will open Local Area Network Settings dialog
– are any of the Automatic Configuration checkboxes selected?
– if Proxy Server>”Use a proxy server for LAN” is selected, then is the “Bypass proxy server for local address” selected?

Hi Octavio,

I have downloaded version 5.0.
I can view localhost on emulator and directly on my browser.
I just cannot upload my app to APPCenter (Authentication failure), even when do a proxy bypass on anything genuitec.
I can also not get access any simulator within the emulator, other than the local one.

Any ideas?
