Good day,

I need to install Visual Editor for myeclipse. I did install it from Callisto, and it seems to have installed, but under New -> it does not show visual class, nor does it appear when going to New -> Other. Any ideas? Getting so frustrated with this.

I have tried this on both MyEclipse 6.5 and 6.0.

The externally added visual editor is not working for you or the MyEclipse Visual Editors are not working for you?

Can you point me to the visual editor that you are trying to setup with MyEclipse ?

I added the Visual Editor listed under Callisto. Here are its details:
Visual Editor SDK
org.eclipse.ve.sdk
1.2.1.v20060825_M-u0g6E989Ug_OQPH

Apparently it is supposed to add a “Visual Class” item under the new submenu but it does not?

The visual editor that you are trying to setup is not certified to run with MyEclipse. I guess thats the reason you are unable to use it with MyEclipse. Sorry about that.

Ok thanks. Is there a version that IS compatible?

By the way, why dont I have an Import -> WAR File option in MyEclipse?

Ed,
You cannot import a project in the form of a war file. You will have to create a new MyEclipse web project and transfer your files to this web project.
