I created an HTML form and then opened it using the HTML designer option.
However, I only see two tabs on the bottom and no toolbars for tables and such.
I’ve double clicked here and there, looked at views and perspectives, zoomed, minimized, and such, but I don’t see the toolbars for creating tables, etc.
I’m clearly doing something wrong in this “Web Project”
Can anyone explain how to see these designer features?
Thanks.

Loyal WaterMemberMork,
If you use the Visual HTML designer, you should see the palette in the design view. Is the palette minimized ? Can you upload a screen shot of the html page open in the visual html designer.January 26, 2009 at 11:44 am #293932What design view?
I saw something in your help documents that the Visual HTML designer is only available in the Windows version, but not the Mac version of MyEclipse?
Is this still true?
If so, when will MyEclipse be fully functional on the Mac?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Loyal WaterMemberMork,
I’m sorry I assumed you are working with the windows OS. Visual HTML editor is not supported on the Mac Version at this point in time. I dont have an ETA on when this would be supported but I’ll keep you posted.January 26, 2009 at 12:57 pm #293951That’s VERY disappointing.
🙁
Thanks for your reply…..I’ll use Dreamweaver for now, but please try to make your software versions consistent across platforms (easier said than done, perhaps).
Also, you could (should?) charge less for the Mac version since it’s not fully functional.

Sure.
January 26, 2009 at 1:16 pm #293958I really didn’t realize that the Mac version had stripped down functionality.
Where else does the Mac version not equals the Windows version?
Thanks.

Loyal WaterMemberHere is the list of features and the OS that they are supported on:-

Are the plans to implement all features the Mac or are some things too difficult to implement on the Mac.

January 26, 2009 at 1:54 pm #293973The URL you gave me above appears to be outdated.
UML seems to be implemented in MyEclipse for the Mac, but on your URL above it shows no “X” for MyEclipse UML.
Can you please update this listing at the URL you posted so it’s current and correct?
Thanks.

Loyal WaterMemberM,
We are working on implementing the features that are not supported on Mac. UML support was added recently to ME for Mac but we haven’t updated it on the feature list. I’ll get this list updated.January 27, 2009 at 8:12 am #294004Okay, thanks. 🙂

Did you see my posting about not being able to create a Web Services Project under OS X?
Has anyone investigated this bug report yet on the Mac?
Do you need more information?
Please advise as soon as you can.
Thanks.
