When using the visual html editor I get a black screen. When I try to refresh the view the editor reports that there’s a problem with the page. This is happening with every page I try even plain html pages. I’m using explorer 6.0 on a windows xp pro desktop.
Any ideas?
Have you applied SP2? Eclipse is on the known list of “Programs effected by SP2” on Microsoft’s site, we have run into some issues when Office is installed and using SP2.
We have an existing PR in our tracking system about the incompatiblity of SP2 with the HTML designer. It appears that the breadth of changes in the core OS of SP2 is causing incompatiblites with Eclipse integration. Hopefully, Microsoft will undo some of these compatibility breaks but if they don’t we will work around these issues in an upcoming service release. Thank you for your patience.
