We are planning to develop a plug-in based on MyEclipse. The major feature is to extend the JSP editor to add our own taglib palette which holding our own tags to the web designer, so that user can drag the tag from our own palette to the JSP editing panel. We also want to customize the property view for our tags.
Could you please provide us some docs / materials related with this? If you can also provide some existing success case about this would be nice.

As you know we are a commercial product and our APIs are not open. However, I would add that comming in MyEclipse 5.0 we will be based on the WTP 1.5 platform if that helps give you and your team a more focused target (compatability with WTP).I’ll pass this message along to management and see if we do have any material to provide for situations like this.
