    Hello,

    I want to point my webroot folder to different loation, i.e when i create a webproject , i should be able to point my web project to my perforce working directory, current i can copy files from perforce and myeclispe creates a new working directory under webproject, but this working directory should be link to perforce working directory, for src we have a option to have link, i want to do same for web folder….

    please assist

    Have you tried doing this and MyEclipse doesn’t understand it, or is the problem every time you erase the webroot dir in order to re-create it, MyEclipse just re-creates it immediately? The reason it’s doing that is because your output dir is set to WEbRoot/WEB-INF/classes by default, so it will re-create that path every time you erase the dir, you have to unset your output path temporarily if you want to erase it and re-create it.

    I am not having problem with SRC, what I am trying to achieve is, i should be able to point(Link) my webroot folder to perforce working folder, I dont want to import JSP files, but i want to point my WEBMODULE to read WEB,JSP files different working directory.

    Yes you should be able to, if you run into a problem erasing your webroot and re-creating it as a linked resource, *then* re-read my post above. I think I jumped the gun answering you too quickly.
