    Hi,

I have a domain name registered. I would like to start webhosting on the registered url just for personal use as a hobby. I have MyEclipse, Tomcat and MySql. Is it possible to start like that, without having to rely on commercial webhosting services? If so what should I do? Please help me.

    Thanks
    Narisi

    Narisi,

You can start without a public webhosting service by developing your application in MyEclipse and running it in your local Tomcat instance. A tutorial on how to do that is here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/images/tutorials/quickstarts/webprojects/
