Why do I see different results when I run the Web Project Tutorial as “IE Javascript” or a “Javascript Application”?
Specifically, this line in the tutorial “<% out.print(“Hello Jsp World”); %>” does not display in the MyEclipse Browser when run as a Javascript Application.

    ssquire,

I get the same results when I run as ‘IE JavaScript’ or as ‘Javascript Application’.
Can you please send me detail steps on how you are trying to run as JavaScript Application for me to replicate it at my end?

Attached is a screenshot which displays the line “<% out.print(“Hello Jsp World”); %>” while debugging as JavaScript Application.

I start MyEclipse Java Enterprise Perspective. Then I start MyEclipse Tomcat Server. I switch to Debug Perspective. I click on the bug on the toolbar and the ‘Debug As’ dialog opens. I select ‘IE Javascript’ then click OK. When the ‘Select Serve’ dialog box appears I select MyEclipse Tomcat Server. It runs then I get an Internet Explorer has stopped working error. I’ll put another post up with the other error because I have to shut IE down.
