    Hello,

Does anybody know any plugin to accelerate the development of Web Services using MyEclipse?

When I have to create a SOAP client in delphi for example, all I need is an URL to a WSDL file and most of the code is done automaticaly. Is there something similar for MyEclipse?

I think this functionality is scheduled on the roadmap for 2.8. For now, Apache Axis has a wsdl2java utility that can be used to generate classes; there is also an Eclipse plugin available if you google wsdl2java, but I haven’t tried it. Also, Systinet has a similar utility with an Eclipse plugin. MyEclipse 2.8 should be releasing soon.

We are looking at doing an integration of Axis for Q2. The details are fuzzy at this time since we have a couple of other higher priority feature sets planned before web-services.

Hi, it’s been a while since the last message on this topic. Any idea on when will Web Services support be added to MyEclipse?

    Thanks

    MyEclipse 5.0 is our target.
