I want to enquire whether or not myeclipse suppports JSP debugging in weblogic 6.1 . That’s because I am in the process of evaluating this product for our purpose. I tried setting breakpoints in jsp files in myeclipse jsp editor but to no avail. I found a few posts mentioning weblogic 7 and weblogic 8 but no references to weblogic 6. It would be really nice if I could get an answer at the earliest.
Kind Regards and thanks in advance,
    Harish

    Harish,

Yes it does, but you need to configure the weblogic.xml descriptor to enable debugging. An example for weblogic 7 is here:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/FAQ+index-myfaq-yes-id_cat-18.html#97

But 6.1 is the same, except that it references the 6.1 dtd.

I went through the dtd that is to be used with weblogic 6.1 i.e. weblogic-web-jar.dtd. It does not mention debug as a possible value for <param-name> under <jsp-descriptor>. So, is it that weblogic 6.1 does not support jsp debugging at all. I was reading a post by JBuilder people that JSP debugging in JBuilder is possible with weblogic 6.1 sp4. I downloaded weblogic 6.1 sp7 but even the dtd in weblogic.jar in there does not have the requisite tag.

    Regards and Thanx,
    Harish.
