I have been playing around with myeclipse and websphere 6 on windows (relative newby). Eventually, the plan is to move all apps to a websphere 6 for z/os. Does myeclipse support integration with websphere running on z/os? If so, is there any documentation on making the integration work?
There is absolutely no testing performed for Eclipse or MyEclipse on the z/os operating system, if you do choose to go that route you will need to roll up your sleeves. If you had a computer handy with z/os on it, I would suggest you try Eclipse and MyEclipse on that machine to see if by chance it works fine. (I’m also assuming you will be using an IBM JDK, that is another thing that you would need to test heavily to make sure it worked).
