Will it be 3.7, or 3.7.1 (the SR1 release).

Due to timing and testing constraints, 10.0 will be based on 3.7.0. I realize 3.7.1 is important for Java 7 support, so we will try to follow up asap with a release based on 3.7.1.

In my case, it’s actually that we’re creating an RCP application based on 3.7.1. But we’ll be able to hang with a 3.7-based ME for a bit. 🙂

Understood – you could still download the Eclipse 3.7.1 SDK and use it as a target platform from within MyEclipse 10 – this will make any 3.7.1 SDK changes available to you, just not 3.7.1 RCP tooling, if any – you could even do this in MyEclipse 9.1 which is based on 3.6.1, but, of course, depending on your exact use case, YMMV.
