Hi there Guys

I ‘m trying to find the update perspective that you recommend using when upgrading versions of MyEclipse. I’m running Eclipse3M6 and MyEclipse3.7RC2 – and i don’t have an update perspective.

I do however have a Software updates option under help. I’ve tried both ‘find and install’ and ‘Manage configuration’ options, but still can’t find anything like ‘Query settings’. When i click on ‘Manage configurations’, and open MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench3.6.200 it claims there are no updates.

Is there still an update perspective, or is it now just done through this help menu option? And if so, why does it not pick up the latest GA 3.7 of MyEclipse?

The Install/Update perspective was removed from Eclipse 3.0. It really doesn’t matter at this point since we don’t provide an update site for 3.7 GA since it requires a full Eclipse 3.0M7 installation anyway. Please install M7 and then use our double-click installer for 3.7 GA.
