    Hello,

We develop Java web apps and have been using eclipse (And other IDEs) to do this.
We’ve have previously used an older version of MyEclipse (Around version 5) but are looking to get MyEclipse again.

We’ve looked to using MyEclipse 10 but it appears that his only supports the automatic creation of J2EE 6.0 or below and we’ve got many Java 1.7 and J2EE 7.0 applications.

Is there a version of MyEclipse that will support the create of Java web apps that are natively 1.7 compatible.

We can add the J2EE 7.0 libraries ourselves but if the application can do this for 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 it would be nice to see 7.0 support. It also appears that the version of Struts and Springs included are very out of date but we already maintain our own libraries of these.

    Daniel,

Our next release of MyEclipse (2014) will provide support for creation of Java 1.7 projects. It is due for release in couple of weeks. I suggest you wait for the release and give it a try.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you very much!
In the mean time we’ll continue to develop as we are (Changing the libraries out to 1.7 once it’s built to 1.6 libraries)
