Hi
I have made a app where the background is in a color.
When I press on a “go to screen” link, there is a white blink on the screen.
Can I change that some how ?–/ Torben

Can you share more information about the problem? What mobione version are you using? Where are you testing your app (iOS, android)? please specify model and OS
The app is made with version 2.3.2 – and Hotfix 1
I have tested on iPhone 5, iPhone 4 and iPod – same issue.
Cannot test on Android.
The problem is not in Test Center.I have added some of the “project” – the TyskSol.mobi is the start pages.

This sounds like the White Flash of Death problem that happens when going quickly between pages. Isn’t this a known bug?

Just a thought – I have encountered something similar …
My App homescreen contains a multipage widget and there was a quite obvious white flash between the startup screen (which is modelled on the opening page) and the opening page itself. Turns out that the white screen is actually the main .mobi screen just before the multipage kicks in – problem considerably ameliorated by setting the main screen toa solid colour (in my case a dark grey) that was the ‘average colour’ of the first screen – there is still a bit of a flash, but nowhere as obvious and irritating as the white flash.

Typically the white flash you might encounter is cause by crashing of the webkit transition system with some complex image process. For example gradients or big images are very expensive to process on the small process of most devices. Sticking with solid backgrounds or highly optimized images and as few objects will result in better performance. On android 2.X, 3d transitions are terrible due to lack of support at the browser level and you are limited to Fade.
