    Hi.

    I have just followed the Eclipse help and did a class called
    SampleAction, implementing the IWorkbenchWindowActionDelegate interface.

    On its run method I wrote:

    public void run(IAction arg0) {

    System.out.println(“Hello, PDE world!”);
    }

    Such class is part of my plugin project.
    As said in Eclipse help, it should write “Hello, PDE world!” to the
    Eclipse Console view.
    Now, when I run my plugin by means of Run- Run as- run-time Workbench, the
    message “Hello, PDE world!” is appearing in my development Workbench, not
    in my run-time Workbench. Moreover, if I install my plugin in another
    machine with Eclipse, the message doesn’t appear in any place. Why such
    thing happens?
    How to solve this problem.

    Any hint will be very helpful.

    Thanks.

    Rodrigo.

    Rodrigo,
    This is definately a question for the Eclipse newsgroups or mailing lists. These forums are for the MyEclipse Product support. MyEclipse is a plugin to Eclipse that supports J2EE and Web Application development, from the sounds of it, not what you need help with 😉
