There is the Eclipse Web Tools project (http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/) which is supposed to do their first release in July. This includes editors for HMTL / CSS / JSP / EJB (see http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/project-scope.html). These web tools are (also?) targeted at tool providers to built upon them.

Now does MyEclipse plan to switch to those web tools? Or will MyEclipse keep their current editors?

When you get a chance, open up your <MyEclipse install dir>\eclipse\plugins directory 😛

So I guess you’re already using the Web Tools project… 😳 Cool!

Yes we are not fans of wasting time reinventing the wheel, we incorporate the technologies that help our users then build ontop of them to further customize and enhancement. WTP is a strong platform to build on and we are looking forward to future releases from the group.
