Are there any exceptions in the Eclipse log file? Where is there a log file for the installer?—-Message Body—-
I downloaded EnterpriseWorkbenchInstaller_4.1GA_E3.1.exe and when I run it I get a Windows Application Error dialog indicating “The instruction as “0x00421cb0” refrenced memory at “0x000000000” The memory could not be written.Any ideas? I’ve already redownloaded the exe just in case it got mucked up but that didn’t help.

Other users have reported this same issue. There seems to be a problem with the automated installer and Windows 2003 Server. Anyways, I would suggest you do the manual install. This is available as a separate download from the same page that you downloaded the installer. Once you unzip the manual install package, you will see the installation instructions.
I have successfully placed my eclipse3.1.1 version and when i try myeclipseworkbench installer i am getting
“jvm.dll file is not available or incorrect, change/add jvm.dll file” with cancel button.
Button I have jvm.dll in my system in three different location.
I am using window 2000.
It is not giving browse option to locate jvm.dll file for installer.
Can any one suggest a solution for this.
