What are the necessary steps to introduce a WAR file created on a Unix environment in MyEclipse? The WAR file is for a BEA Weblogic 8.1 webserver so simply expanding it will not work.

    Thank you.

If you have a WLS on your machine just deploy the WAR to it. It doesnt matter where you build the war … Maybe the war works on a JBoss too …

Thanks for the interest in my topic.

It’s the deploying function I am having problems with. So I create a new java package and …. the import functions allow JAR’s but not WAR’s. A less than interesting work around would be to unzip the WAR and go that route but I would prefer if Eclipse would take care of it.

    Thanks.
