    Hi there,

our Company is using MyEclipse Blue in version 8.61 and I have some questions about working with XML files.
Are the following requirements possible in this version?

      – validate XML against XSD?
      – creation of key-constraints with xPath?
      – creation of references with xPath?
      – grafical view of whole schema?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Ralf,

The XML editor (and XML validator) does validate against any declared schema, in the XML file, though there is no facility to validate against another schema.

The schema editor (which is the default for xsd files) has a design page which graphically shows the schema definitions.

We have no specific support for XPATH, though I’m not too familiar with the uses you mention.

Just a note on MyEclipse releases. All valid licenses can download and install all releases whilst the license is valid. The latest Blue release is 10.5. You might want to consider installing this release. Note that multiple releases may be installed on the same machine; there is no requirement to uninstall a previous release.
